When deciding what goals to go on this list; I have one simple rule I follow:
All goals deserve a fighting chance to win. There for I push doubt and fear to the side and fight for them all. No dream is to small and surly no dream is to big.
Some may say this sounds dramatic or unsettling but at times I think about my last moment here on Earth. I wonder what I’m doing, where I’m at in life. I even wonder what my thoughts will be.
Although I can’t predict any of those things I do know I would hate to be in a state full of regret. That’s why I find it so important to live an intentional and purposeful life. I want to be fulfilled with my accomplishments, The ones I got up time and time again and fought for. And my moments of failure, I want to smile at the thought of me trying.
I can’t predict the future but I can be present and live the life that future me would look back on and smile.
This unsettling picture in my head is my why. Why I chase my dreams and don’t wait for them. Why I fight through the fear. And why I view life as nothing but an opportunity to embrace the impossible.
